If you don't already have it installed, get the VLC Media Player from your device AppStore (Amazon store or Google Play). This player has been around forever and is works great for streaming apps as the default player. Other built in players can have ads of their own.
You can download and install VLC right from the device app store, no FileLinked install tricks are needed,
VLC is also available for Windows, Mac and Linux as a free download. If you have videos of any crazy format they will more than likely play in VLC ! Its that good ! I recommend installing in on computers as well as android devices.
The VLC Homepage can be found here with downloads for PCs and Macs

Step 3: Fire TV App List
When you have FileLinked installed and know how to install apps from the AppStore it is time to figure out what apps to get.
Many of these apps need a dedicated player installed, the app gets the stream and then the player connects and plays it. I recommend installing the VLC player from the Amazon app store from Google Play store. When installing a streaming app it may give the option to use VLC as the player, if you have VLC installed you should select VLC as the player.
The AppStore code I gave out is for a store that is curated by me. I hand pick the apps from reliable sources. I would not suggest using codes from unknown sources as they could contain viruses or could turn the device into a crypto miner !
As new versions of the apps come out I will update the AppStore, the sample AppStore number will get you back to my curated AppStore with the new Apps or new versions of Apps.
Streaming Apps are the most wanted apps for the FireTV. It used to be that Kodi with addons was the way to stream content. Most Kodi addons became broken and at same time a new app came out and changed everything, Terrarium TV or TTV !
Terrarium TV was a stand alone App that had autoupdates and was able to work far better than the broken Kodi addons. Things were good and then the TTV developer got weird ! Soon after TTV stopped working completely. There were a few hacks to TTV to keep working but they also broke.
With TTV gone others decided to build TTV like apps that could do the same thing.
Streaming Apps from the AppStore:
BeeTV - Works similar to TTV, adfree versions posted when possible. Very easy to use interface.
Cinema HD AdFree - Very popular TTV replacement, if you have one app this would be it ! Updates often and soon after a adfree version will come out.
Cinema HD Official - The official version right from the maker, has ads but will always be the latest version and quite often the adfree version will break when a new official version comes out. Run the official version if you want to have it work the longest and can live with the ads.
CyberFlix TV - Works similar to TTV, adfree versions posted when possible.
Mobdro - A live tv app with network, cable and international channels
Morph TV - Works similar to TTV, adfree versions posted when possible.
TeaTV - Works similar to TTV, adfree versions posted when possible.
VLC Player - Not on filelinked, get it from Amazon or Google Play store and install it. Best free player you can get, no ads ever ! If a app gives the option to select the default player, use VLC !
Step 2: Installing Apps from the FileLinked AppStore
Once FileLinked is installed its time to install the Apps we want ! If you don't have FileLinked installed on your device see the post below for instructions.
The TroyPoint HowTo shows how to get the FileLinked Icon on the main screen. Start FileLinked and you will see a place to enter a DroidAdmin Code.
If you are replacing a previous version of an app it is always best to uninstall the old app and clear the cache before you try and install the new app. Here is a video for how to uninstall apps, I also recommend you "force stop" the app, "clear cache" and "clear data" from the same menu before you uninstall.
Enter the Code for the AppStore you want to use, in this case it will be my code

Hit the Continue button to load the AppStore. The AppStore will look similar to this:
The AppStore will show the Apps available for Download and Install, this is TWO steps.
1) The down arrow with the line below it on the left side downloads the App you want. The green line will show the progress of the download.
2) The play button on the left installs the App after the download is finished.
You should now have the app installed but the Icon for the App may not shown on the main screen. Here is a video from TroyPoint on how to place the app icons on the FireTV main screen.
Step 1: How to install FileLinked on FireTvs
FileLinked is an Android App that allows the user to enter a code number for an AppStore and be able to easily install other Android Apps. Here is a great HowTo from TroyPoint on how to install FileLinked on a FireTV.
TroyPoint HowTo on FileLinked In this HowTo they call FileLinked by its old name DroidAdmin but when done it is the correct version of FileLinked and will work perfectly.
Here is a handy video HowTo for installing it as well.
